MISSION
San Gabriel Valley Phoenix Poets champions and celebrates the authentic self-expression of individuals and groups impacted by the Eaton Fire of January 2025. Our program harnesses poetry and community to remember, honor, mourn, express, and explore the possibilities of recovery. We will approach this collective journey through the lens of a Phoenix, the immortal bird in Greek mythology who rises from the ashes.
